It is hoped that all members will have their dive expectations met, but, If someone is assigned otherwise, It is hoped that the decision would be based on safety and an absolute need to do so.
The Club instructors are hoping to simply mentor and advise/Guide the DOD’s pairing more so this year. We are very interested in building up the skillset of the diving Club this year. So all should be prepared for Emergency Drills, Club diver skills assignment, & CPR throughout the season. Trainees will be assessed on Club Diver theory & Dive tables.
The Instructor Grades would activately encourage members to do the DFR and Rescue diver course. Weather Patterns suggestion that we should take every opportunity to dive when weather permits. June is promised Good. So keep your calendars free...
Alcohol and Diving do not mix. So please do not waste time, valuable boat space and compromise your safety and that of someone else by turning up for a dive in a state unsuitable for diving. It is the responsibility of the Diving Officer to conduct safe diving operations. Each member is to asked to dive safely, and consider the safety of their dive Buddy at all times throughout the dive. Relay any concerns about any pending dive to the Club Diving Officer. Feel free to discuss any dive activity with the Diving Officer or Instructor grades at any time.
